Why employ Michael?
Michael works as a freelance technology advocate, editor and writer and he firmly believes modern technology and IT tools can enrich peoples‘ lives.
Michael is passionate about empowering people through technology, computers and the Internet and thinks everyone, of all ages, should have access to, and a good understanding of, these life-enhancing technologies.
Michael trained in Journalism and Philosophy at City University, London and has worked with a wide range of evolving internet technologies for over 15 years. Michael was Editor for many successful websites including high-profile projects at British Telecom, AOL and the British Medical Journal. He was also a launch editor for several successful start-ups.

- Library Volunteer & Teacher, Brighton & Hove Council: Teaching users with little to no experience in the use of library computers, the internet and email, working with library staff to provide advice and access to council services.
- Editor and Content Strategist for ribot: Editor for re-launch of website for ribot, mobile design agency, content strategy for agency projects, tester for iPhone, iPad and Android mobile applications, community and forum manager for forthcoming digital inclusion project.
- Content Strategy for Urban Student Life: Turning a business plan into a compelling business-to-business website, helping USL second-round investment, developing a Content Strategy and acting as editor for forthcoming consumer website.

Minecraft is a ‘sandbox’ game that allows players to create and play in a 3D environment.
Far from being realistic the world has a logic (and style) all of its own. While many players are keen to explore, dig mines to find precious minerals or fight to the death in battles with Zombies, Skeletons and the explosive Creepers, others build huge objects out of the Lego-like blocks that compose the world.
Rather than get involved in too many hack-and-slash battles I decided to create a peaceful space that would immerse the player calm, relaxing and inspiring world.
I was astonished by the massive, positive response and I hope to expand the world when I have the time...
